With direct fullness and steam vulcanization, the air in the vulcanization container can be discharged, reducing the destructive effect of oxygen in the air on the rubber.

Defect is easy to generate condensate, uneven temperature in large vulcanizing tanks, part of the temperature is low and should not be done for fear of water products of the hot medium, superheated steam will be full of steam through the heater and can be obtained from the superheated steam, superheated steam condensate less, the temperature inside the tank is not subjected to pressure, suitable for vulcanization temperature of vulcanizing medium. The defect is that the equipment corrosion is heavy.

Hot air hot air vulcanization can be carried out at atmospheric pressure or under pressure, the advantage is that the heating temperature is not affected by pressure, does not contain moisture, relatively dry. Products vulcanized with hot air have smooth surface and good appearance quality. Some special rubber such as polyurethane rubber is easy to hydrolyze, need to choose hot air vulcanization. The defect is that the heat coefficient is small and the thermal conductivity is very low.
